1. Within Privacy Information, "Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and is information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, phone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information.

2. Within Privacy Information, "Usage History and Characteristic Information" refers to information other than "Personal Information" as defined above, and includes services you used, products you purchased, history of pages and advertisements you viewed, search keywords you used, date and time of use, method of use, device information and settings, postal code, gender, occupation, age, your IP address, cookie information, location information, and device-specific identifiers.

We may ask you for Personal Information such as your name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when you register to use the Services. We may also collect records of transactions including your Personal Information made between you and our partners, and information related to payments, from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distributors) ("Partners").

8. Other purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

The purposes for which we collect and use Personal Information are as follows:

1. We will not provide your Personal Information to third parties without your prior consent, except in the cases set forth below. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.

   1. When required by laws and regulations

   2. When necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining your consent is difficult

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be deemed as provision to a third party:

   2. When Personal Information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons

   3. When Personal Information is to be jointly used with a specific party, and we have either notified you in advance of the fact of such joint use, as well as the items of Personal Information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by the users, and the name of the person responsible for the management of said Personal Information, or we have made this information readily accessible to you

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than Personal Information, such as Usage History and Characteristic Information, will not be disclosed in principle.

1. If the Personal Information we hold about you is incorrect, you may request that we correct or delete your Personal Information in accordance with the procedures we specify.

2. If we receive a request from you as described in the preceding paragraph and determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will correct or delete the relevant Personal Information without delay and notify you.

If you request the suspension of use or deletion ("Suspension of Use, etc.") of your Personal Information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use, or that it was obtained by fraudulent means, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and based on the results, we will implement the Suspension of Use, etc., of your Personal Information and notify you to that effect. However, if the Suspension of Use, etc., of your Personal Information involves significant costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures necessary to protect your rights and interests can be taken, we will implement such alternative measures.

We will manage the Personal Information you provide to us appropriately and with due care, and will endeavor to protect your Personal Information by implementing necessary and appropriate levels of security measures against risks such as leakage, misuse, falsification, and unauthorized access.
