Evaluation Cycle

Conducted twice a year

At each stage, the manager in charge conducts an interview to align on future direction by discussing what you want to achieve at TechX Vietnam, setting goals, and reviewing your evaluation at that point in time

Conducted once after joining the company

Supervisors or the CTO conduct performance reviews semi-annually.
In addition to disclosing evaluations and feedback for the period and setting goals for the next term, discussions regarding future career paths are also held, and training or reassignments are considered as necessary.

Mechanism of evaluation

At TechX Vietnam, we have established a fair system that avoids subjective or person-dependent evaluations by subdividing and specifying evaluation items, and by establishing multiple objective indicators for those evaluation criteria.
We value an evaluation system that feels fair and logical and makes it easy to approach day-to-day work with clear goals.

Salary increase
Main Evaluation Items

We evaluate employees based on prescribed evaluation criteria from both aspects: specialized skills that measure technical ability, and soft skills.
It is a system where the evaluation is determined by the level of skill achievement, and salary increases, bonuses, and promotions are decided by the scores in each item.

Evaluation Method

We evaluate employees from three perspectives, independence, methodology, and task complexity.

Independence

Whether you can achieve a certain level of results without follow-up from managers, etc.

Methodology

Whether you have the skills to carry out appropriate actions in accordance with specified methods.
Additionally, for senior positions, we also look at whether you can work backward from the issue or objective to devise an appropriate method on your own.

Task Complexity

The complexity of the problems you can solve and the degree of your understanding in that field.

KPI Bonus
Main Evaluation Items

The bonus amount is determined by evaluating the following four items at different ratios for each position and level.

  • Achievement level of annual DevHub goals
  • Achievement level of goals for participating projects
  • Achievement level of personal goals
  • Degree of contribution to organizational development

Major career paths

Training and Skills Development Support

Japanese Classes

Held once a week after work hours. Support for improving Japanese language skills and learning to become a bridge engineer.

Technical Training

Various in-house seminars held on topics such as Agile development and Git utilization, tailored to on-site needs and trends.

Clarification of Career Paths

Twice-yearly performance reviews

Skill Sharing Award Event

Quarterly awards for the top three sharers of outstanding technical knowledge, including prize money and trophies.

Development Skills Test

Held once a year, in teams of 3-5 members. Teams compete on new technologies and creativity, with top teams receiving awards.

Training Opportunities in Japan

Opportunities for training trips to the head office in Japan.

Release Parties

Company-wide events held upon product releases for sharing knowledge and boosting motivation.
